Is it worth it?
It's 2am, the bill is on the counter, and you've got your Bible open with no idea where to look. You believe. That's not the problem. The problem is that believing hasn't stopped the churning, and reading a page and nodding at it hasn't either. That gap is exactly what this book is built for. Instead of a devotional that walks you through a calendar, it's a sort of index by circumstance. Anxious? Go to that section. Money trouble? There's one for that. Verses, then a prayer already written out, then a decree to say aloud. The core idea, taken from Proverbs 18:21 and Job 22:28, is that speaking the Word out loud does something reading it silently doesn't. That's the seller's own framing, and the miracles and opened doors described on the page are their personal testimony, not anything demonstrated. Judge it on what it actually does, which is give you words when you have none and a habit you can keep for five minutes a day. Plenty of people find that genuinely steadying. If your anxiety is severe or constant, this is a companion to help, not a substitute for it. As a structured prompt for daily prayer, it's a reasonable buy.
Pros
- Organised by real situations, so you're not flipping pages
- Prayers and decrees are already written, nothing to compose
- 366 pages is a lot of material for a digital price
- Works in five minutes a day, no course to complete
Cons
- The page shows one section in detail and lists the rest, so you're partly buying unseen
- Healing, money and miracle outcomes are personal testimony only, with no evidence offered
- Assumes you accept the speak-it-and-it-is-established framing, which not every church teaches
The Great Book of Bible Verses, Prayers & Decrees
A scripture-by-situation book for people who want to pray out loud but freeze up
What you get
A 366-page book organised into 22 life situations (worry and anxiety, money pressure, marriage strain and so on). Each section gives you selected verses, a written prayer and a spoken decree, so you turn to your situation and read aloud rather than hunting for the right passage. It arrives as a digital download, described on the page as a bundle.
Before you buy
- Check the final price and the refund window on the order page before you pay, since the sales page doesn't state either
- Confirm what format arrives (PDF versus printed) and whether the extra bundle items are included
- If anxiety is affecting your sleep, work or health most days, line this up alongside a doctor or counsellor rather than instead of one
