Is it worth it?

You've been playing a while. Maybe years. You're not a beginner, but your forehand still comes out as either a safe push or a wild swing, and your second serve is the shot you're dreading before you even toss the ball. Your opponent knows it too. That's roughly who these courses are aimed at. It's Tomaz Mencinger's work, and the approach is body-first rather than grip-and-stance-first: the idea is that lack of power is usually bad biomechanics, not lack of effort. A lot of his material is free on the site already, which is genuinely useful because you can watch several hours of it and see if the teaching style clicks before spending anything. They're single-stroke courses at $97 each, no subscription. That's a sensible structure if one shot is holding you back, and an expensive one if three are. He says these are his best ideas and the fastest route to improvement. Take that as his claim, not a guarantee. Video teaching can't see what you're actually doing wrong, so you'll want to film yourself, and you'll need court time to convert any of it into a real swing. Nothing here is quick. Expect weeks of ugly reps before it feels like yours.

Pros

  • A lot of free material to sample the teaching first
  • One-off payment, no recurring billing
  • Focused on one stroke rather than padded out
  • Explains why a flaw happens, not just what to copy

Cons

  • $97 per stroke adds up fast if you need more than one
  • No personal feedback, so you're self-diagnosing from video
  • Page doesn't state refund terms, course length or hours of footage

What you get

Separate video courses sold individually at $97 each, not a bundle. The Effortless Forehand covers biomechanics drills, the modern lag technique, swing path and open stance footwork. Serve Unlocked is a full serve rebuild. Second Serve Mastery covers topspin and slice, solo pressure practice and a pre-serve ritual. There's also a One-Handed Backhand course. You pick the stroke you're struggling with.

Before you buy

  • Watch the free videos on the site first, the style is either for you or it isn't
  • Check the refund window before paying, it isn't stated on the page
  • Have a way to film your own strokes, otherwise you're guessing

Who it suits

Intermediate players with one specific stroke that keeps letting them down, who practise regularly
