Is it worth it?
You rolled a fresh character on a Classic Era or Hardcore realm, and somewhere around level 22 the momentum died. Your log is half grey quests, you're flying between zones for single turn-ins, and the guildie who started a week after you is already in their forties. Levelling in Classic isn't difficult, it's just long, and most of the hours vanish into deciding where to go next rather than into the fights themselves. Joana's guides exist to take that decision off you. She set a vanilla speed record in 2006 and has been writing routes ever since. The guides are turn by turn: grab these three quests, clear these mobs on the way through, hand in here, then head for this zone at this level. The free addon ships with the 1-12 and 70-72 sections, which is genuinely enough to test whether following a script suits you or feels like homework. Some people hate it. Following someone else's route removes the wandering that is, for a lot of players, the whole point of Classic. If you're levelling your first character and want to discover Azeroth, skip this and come back on your alt. If you're on your fourth, or on Hardcore where one bad pull ends the character, a tested path matters. It's $5.95 a month at the moment, down from $7.95, and it renews until you cancel. Most people finish in a month or two, so set a reminder.

What you get
A free addon with starter guides built in (Classic Era 1-12, Tirisfal 12-15, Wrath 70-72). The monthly subscription adds the full set: Classic Era 1-60 across Azeroth with Season of Discovery rune quests, Hardcore and Anniversary support, TBC 60-70 in Outland, the Ghostlands and Bloodmyst 12-20 starts, and Wrath 70-80. Everything reads either in the addon in-game or as web guides in a browser.
