Is it worth it?
You've probably been running the numbers. Fuel, servicing, an electricity bill that climbs every quarter, and the nagging thought that you could build something better in your own garage. Converting an old petrol car to electric is a genuine hobby. People do it with a donor car, a motor, a controller, a battery pack and a lot of weekends. Wanting a guide that walks you through that is completely reasonable. The trouble is this one has nothing behind it. The address it sells from no longer loads a sales page. What comes up instead is a Namecheap notice saying the domain registration has expired, followed by a list of unrelated domains going to auction. No contents list, no sample, no author, no price, no support address. So I can't tell you whether the guide is any good, because there's nothing left to read. What I can say is that a listing whose own website has lapsed is a poor thing to hand your card to. If the download link is dead, or the file isn't what you expected, the place you'd normally go for help has gone too. If you still want to do a conversion, start with the free build logs and conversion forums hobbyists keep. They'll tell you more about motors, pack sizing and roadworthiness than an unseen ebook will, and they cost nothing while you work out if the project is really for you.

- Ask what format arrives, how long it is, and where support goes, before paying
- Price up a donor car, motor, controller and battery pack first, the guide is the cheapest part of the project
