Is it worth it?
You're paying for a CRM, a booking tool, something that sends invoices and something else that chases reviews, and none of them really talk to each other. A job gets booked but nobody texts the customer. An invoice goes out four days late because it lives in a different tab. LocalTry is aimed straight at that mess: one workspace holding customers, jobs, scheduling, messaging, money, reviews and marketing, so work stops falling down the gaps. The part that makes it different is the Workspace Builder. You describe what's missing in plain words, it drafts the change, you approve it, and the new screen or field or workflow appears in your account only. The seller says supported changes usually land in 15 to 30 minutes. If that holds, it answers the thing that makes people switch systems every couple of years: the one feature that isn't there. There's also MCP access, so an AI assistant you already use can see real business data. A ChatGPT version is listed as coming soon, which means not yet. What the page won't tell you is the price. You pick Operator or Scale at checkout and it bills monthly from today. The free $999 migration is tied to a seven day window, which is the usual nudge. Refunds run 14 days, and that's a tight runway for moving a whole business across and judging it properly.

- Ask what Operator and Scale each cost monthly, and what you lose on the cheaper one
- Check your actual tools are supported (card payments, accounting, calendar, texting) before you migrate anything
- Migrate fast and test hard in week one, because the refund window is only 14 days
Who it suits
Small service businesses juggling three or four separate tools who want one system and have the patience to move their data across properly
