Is it worth it?
Maybe there's a keyboard in the spare room you bought with good intentions, or you did a term of lessons as a kid and can still just about find middle C. For most adults the thing that kills it isn't difficulty, it's the slog. Months of exercises before anything you play sounds like music. Pianoforall's whole pitch is flipping that order. You start with rhythm patterns and chord shapes that sound like actual songs within the first few sessions, and the theory and sheet reading get layered in later, once you're already enjoying it. The lessons arrive as interactive ebooks with video and audio built into the pages, so you read, watch, then copy. Ten books, working from party piano through blues, ragtime, jazz and improvisation, ending up at classical. The method is sound. Chord and rhythm playing really is the fastest route to sounding decent at a piano. The trade is real too. You won't come out with solid classical technique or fast sight reading, and nobody is watching your fingering or correcting bad habits. The 'months not years' claim is the seller's framing and it still assumes you sit down most days. Half a million students is their figure, not an independently checked one. Still, for roughly the cost of one or two in person lessons, you get the entire course.
