Is it worth it?
You've probably had the same evening a few times. Day job done, everyone else asleep, and you're on your phone reading about people making money online, half hopeful and half braced for disappointment. That's who this is aimed at. Rapid Profits Online is a compact course on building digital products, put together by John Thornhill and one of his students, Omar. The format is at least honest about its size. You read the ebook in one sitting, then work through about three and a half hours of video. It's not a forty module thing you'll abandon in week two. A determined weekend would cover it. The page leans hard on big numbers ($23 million, $104,170 in one month) and none of that is anything a buyer can check, so treat it as advertising and judge the training itself on whether it's clear and usable. On that front the structure is sensible: a written overview first, then someone showing you what they do. What it can't do is the slow part, which is building up people who actually want what you make. The videos assume you'll go and do that work. If you've no time or no appetite for a few unglamorous months, this won't fix it. If you've been circling the idea for a while and want a short map rather than another 300 page course, it's a fair starting point.
Pros
- Short enough to finish in a weekend
- Written guide and video, so two ways to learn it
- Aimed at complete beginners, no tech background assumed
- One off payment, not a monthly subscription
Cons
- Page makes very large income claims with nothing to back them up
- No price shown until the order page, and the 99% off framing hides what it's really worth
- Skips the hardest part, which is building an audience over months
What you get
Two things, plus bonuses. An ebook called Rapid Digital Assets, short enough to finish in an afternoon, covering how to put a digital product together without writing all the content yourself. Then roughly three and a half hours of video training from Omar walking through his process. The page also advertises $870 of extra bonus material without spelling out what that actually is.
Before you buy
- Check the actual price and the refund terms on the order page, since the sales page states neither
- Expect further paid offers after you buy, which is normal for this type of course
- Be realistic about having a few hours a week spare, or the material just sits there
Who it suits
Beginners who want a short, cheap overview of building digital products and are prepared to put in months of unpaid effort afterwards
