47 Laws of Instagram review
Using Instagram instead of dating apps to start conversations and actually get dates

Is it worth it?
If you're looking at this, the apps have probably gone quiet. Matches that never reply, or reply once and vanish. Cold approach sounds exhausting, your social circle hasn't produced anyone new in a year, and you're starting to suspect the problem is you. That's exactly who it's pitched at. Joe Lampton's angle is that he's 31, 5ft 8, almost completely bald, and has barely been single since he was 17, all through Instagram. The headline claims are a three word DM with a 93% reply rate, 50 conversations a day inside an hour, and a new girlfriend within two weeks. Those are his numbers and the page offers nothing to back them up. Read them as advertising. What sits underneath is more sensible than the headline sounds. Pick a channel you'll actually open, message at volume so no single conversation matters much, and keep the tone light instead of interviewing her or asking permission for everything. Unoriginal, but true. If you're the careful type who writes long thoughtful messages and gets left on read, that reframe alone might shift something. What it won't do is fix a thin profile, bad photos, or having nothing to say once she replies. A script buys you the first response. Everything after that is still you.
Pros
- Fits around a job, no weekends spent out
- Focuses on the opening message, which is where most people freeze
- Costs a fraction of any coaching or in-person programme
- One-off purchase, nothing recurring
Cons
- The 93% reply rate and two week girlfriend claims come with no evidence at all
- Page doesn't state price, format, length or delivery method
- Heavy DM volume can get an Instagram account flagged or restricted
- Does nothing about your photos, bio or what you say after the first reply
What you get
The page never quite says. It's a video pitch for a digital guide built around numbered laws: why Instagram beats Tinder or Hinge, why cold approach and social circle game aren't worth your hours, and the centrepiece, a three word opening DM plus the light, emotional tone Lampton says keeps a chat going. Day to day it's a routine of roughly 30 to 60 minutes of messaging. Format, length, page count and price aren't listed anywhere on the page.
Before you buy
- Check the price and the refund window on the checkout page before paying, since neither appears in the pitch
- Look at your own profile first, a script into an empty account with two photos won't land
- Be honest about whether you'd genuinely do 30 to 60 minutes of messaging most days
Who it suits
Men who are busy, dislike bars and cold approach, and want a concrete opening script rather than general confidence advice. Skip it if you want a proper broad dating course or evidence-backed claims.
