Is it worth it?
You've probably had the conversation where you ask what's wrong, he says nothing, you can tell it isn't nothing, and somehow by the end you're the one who feels unreasonable. That loop is what this is written for. Bob Grant is a licensed counsellor with around twenty years of coaching behind him, and his pitch is that he can explain the other side of it because he's a man. What you're actually buying is a reframe. The argument is that your partner isn't withholding, he's reacting badly to how the question gets asked, and that changing the approach changes the answer. That's a lens rather than a proven mechanism, but it's a genuinely useful one for some women, because it turns "he doesn't care" into "I've been using the approach that doesn't work here". Finishing an evening's reading feeling less like the problem is you has real value. The page leans hard on brain and hormone differences, oxytocin, serotonin, "recent research proves", without naming one study. Take that as framing, not evidence. The advice underneath is more ordinary and more practical: timing, tone, not opening with a grievance. It won't touch contempt, years of stonewalling, or anything with cruelty in it. For a normal communication rut, it's a cheap, quick read.
Pros
- One off payment, no subscription
- Written by an actual licensed counsellor, not an anonymous coach
- Short enough to read in an evening and try something the same week
- Far cheaper than even one counselling session
Cons
- Brain and hormone claims are made with no studies cited
- Leans on broad generalisations about how all men think, which won't fit every partner
- Page never states price, length or format before you reach checkout
What you get
A digital guide you download straight after paying, written by Bob Grant, a licensed counsellor and relationship coach. It's built around the five complaints he says he hears most from female clients (he doesn't listen, he says one thing and does another, he won't talk) and explains the male reaction behind each, then what to say instead. The page doesn't state length, format or whether any audio version is included.
Before you buy
- Price and refund window only appear at the order page, so read that screen before paying
- Expect extra offers after checkout; the main guide is what you agreed to pay for
- If the relationship involves contempt, control or anything frightening, this isn't the right tool
Who it suits
Women in a basically decent relationship that's gone quiet, who want a fresh angle on why he won't talk and something practical to try
