Is it worth it?
You've got a normal job, the money doesn't stretch like it did, and everyone online keeps saying AI is a gold rush while you can't work out what you'd actually sell anyone. That's the person this is aimed at. The plan is freelance media work: product photos, short video ads, logos and music for small businesses, made with AI instead of a design degree. What makes it more useful than most AI courses is that it's one continuous build. You follow along producing a full brand package for an invented streetwear label, so at the end you have samples to show people rather than pages of notes. The toolkit is deliberately narrow: Google's Gemini stack at about $19.99 a month, plus free CapCut. That keeps your costs low and stops you drowning in subscriptions. It also ties every lesson to specific tools and menus, and AI apps change their interface every few months. Judge the client side hardest. It promises an outreach method that avoids cold calling and a showroom on Contra. That's the hardest part of the whole business squeezed into a lesson or two, and no evidence is offered that anyone has actually earned from it, so treat the income side as the seller's claim. The production skills are real and genuinely teachable. Finding people to pay you is still on you.
Pros
- One continuous project, so you finish with a portfolio
- Cheap tool stack instead of a pile of subscriptions
- Covers pricing, legal clearances and outreach, not just software
- Aimed at people with limited evening hours
Cons
- Tied to specific AI tools that update and rename things constantly
- Client-finding advice is thin compared with the production lessons
- The page gives no proof that anyone has made money from this
What you get
A 13-lesson video masterclass, roughly four hours, built around one running project: a complete brand package for a fictional streetwear label. Lessons cover prompt writing, AI product photography and logos, turning stills into video ads, AI voiceover and commercial music, chat-based video editing, pricing your work, daily time blocks, an outreach method, and setting up a profile on Contra.
Before you buy
- Budget the Gemini subscription on top of the course price, it isn't included
- Check the refund window and how long you keep access, the page doesn't say
- Find out when the lessons were recorded, AI video tools date quickly
Who it suits
