Is it worth it?

Maybe a nurse took your reading and said the top number is creeping up. Maybe you bought a cuff and now you check it in the kitchen every morning and the numbers wobble in a way that nags at you. You want something you can actually do that isn't another prescription. That's the itch this is aimed at. Arteris Plus is a herbal capsule sold on a single page by a man called John Mayers, who says he's 58, lives in Philadelphia and has spent years looking into plants. The formula is Passion Flower, Marshmallow, Corydalis, Prickly Pear and California Poppy Seeds. Worth knowing what those mostly are: traditional calming and sedative herbs, not ingredients with a track record of bringing blood pressure down. The page offers no study, no trial, no before and after numbers, just the seller's promise that it supports healthy levels and lifts your energy. One more thing: "FDA approved facility" isn't really a thing for supplements, because the FDA doesn't approve them. Some people do feel calmer on passion flower, and calmer can nudge a reading down slightly. That's a small honest maybe, not what the page is selling. If your blood pressure is genuinely high, this isn't what fixes it, and $69 a month is real money. A good home monitor and an appointment with your doctor buy you more.

Pros

  • One off charge, no subscription to cancel
  • Free shipping within the US
  • Ingredients are named openly on the page
  • Nothing to learn, it's just a capsule

Cons

  • No studies, trials or numbers offered for the blood pressure claim
  • Page never mentions refunds, capsule count, dose or delivery time
  • Heavy push toward 3 and 6 bottle bundles with stock running out warnings

What you get

A bottle of Arteris Plus capsules, posted to you, free shipping in the US. One bottle is a 30 day supply at $69, three for $177, six for $294, all one off payments with no subscription. The page lists Passion Flower, Marshmallow, Corydalis, Prickly Pear and California Poppy Seeds, but not the capsule count, the daily dose, or how much of each ingredient you get.

Before you buy

  • Check with your doctor first, especially if you take blood pressure medication or anything sedating, as these herbs can interact
  • Get the refund policy and return address in writing before you pay, since the page doesn't state either
  • Keep taking whatever you've been prescribed and log your readings with a home cuff so you can tell if anything changed

Who it suits

Probably not worth it, unless you just fancy trying a calming herbal blend and your doctor has no objection
