Is it worth it?
Maybe you've started drinking from one side of your mouth, or you see pink in the sink when you floss, or someone shifted back slightly while you were talking and you've thought about it ever since. Dental work is expensive and a bit frightening, so a capsule that says it keeps teeth strong from the inside is an easy thing to want. Here's the honest part. DentiVive is a daily capsule built around zinc, chromium, alpha lipoic acid, green tea, berberine, resveratrol, milk thistle, cayenne, Korean ginseng and banaba. Zinc does have a genuine role in oral tissue and in breath (there's a reason zinc compounds turn up in mouthwash). But several of the others, berberine, chromium, banaba and alpha lipoic acid, are the standard line-up you'd see in a blood sugar formula rather than a dental one. The page cites no study, no trial and no dentist. It's one person's story plus an ingredient list, so treat the promises as the seller's belief rather than proof. That doesn't make it useless. If your diet is patchy and your gums are a little tender, a zinc and antioxidant supplement is a low risk thing to try for a month. What it won't do is reverse a cavity, regrow bone or settle a tooth that already hurts. Those need a dentist, and no capsule is a cheaper stand-in for one.
