Is it worth it?
You've probably had the idea for a while. A corner of the spare room, or half the garage, and a picture in your head of something with hills and a station and trains that run properly. What stops most people isn't wanting it. It's not knowing which first move is the right one, and knowing that track laid down wrong is money and weekends gone. That's the gap this aims at. It's a beginner's e-book by James Reynolds, who says he's been doing this for 27 years, and it walks through the sequence: how much space you really need, choosing a plan to fit it, laying track that doesn't derail, getting the power right, then scenery. A members area comes with it, billed on repeat. The honest bit. The page promises the layout of your dreams within days and calls itself the only resource on the internet that can do this. Both are the seller talking. Most of this information also exists free across YouTube and model railway forums. What you're paying for is having it ordered, in one place, pitched at someone starting from zero, rather than forty browser tabs of people arguing. If you want a structured path and you've been stalling for months, it's small next to what track and rolling stock cost anyway. If you already have something running, skip it.

Before you buy
- Find the recurring charge and the cancellation steps on the order page before confirming
- Check which scale and which control system it covers, the page hints at DC rather than DCC
- Look for the refund window on the checkout page, it isn't stated in the sales copy
