Die Wahrheit über Bauchmuskeln (Truth About Abs) review
A German-language fat loss programme aimed at belly fat that won't shift with sit-ups

Is it worth it?
The belly is the bit that doesn't shift. You can walk daily, you can do sit-ups until your neck aches, and the middle stays put. That's the person this is written for. Truth About Abs has been around since the late 2000s and the German edition (FlacherBauch.com) is the same product: a nutrition-first argument that crunches were never the problem, and what you eat most days is. The part people actually use is the food side, plus short full-body sessions instead of an hour on a treadmill. Worth knowing: what the page shows you isn't the product. It's a free presentation you sign up for with your email, and the paid programme comes later, so you're judging it partly blind. The teasers (shocking foods that burn fat, two supposedly healthy foods you should never eat) are the seller's hooks, and no evidence is offered on the page for any of them. Nothing here looks risky. It's ordinary eat-better-and-move-differently advice, presented with some drama. Whether it helps depends on whether you needed someone to explain why the sit-ups weren't working. If you've already read a couple of fitness books, most of it will feel familiar. If you haven't, and you want it in German in one place, it's a fair starting point. Expect a steady stream of emails either way.
Pros
- Written and delivered in German, not a rough translation of a landing page
- Focuses on food first, which is where most belly fat actually comes from
- No pills or supplements to buy to make it work
- Digital, so you can start the same day
Cons
- The page never shows a price, you only see it after handing over your email
- Recurring billing means an ongoing charge, and the page doesn't explain what for
- Big claims about 'shocking' foods with nothing behind them on the page
- Core material is over a decade old and much of it is common fitness advice now
What you get
The page itself gives you a free video presentation in German once you hand over your email. The paid part comes after: Mike Geary's digital programme, downloadable, built around food choices and shorter full-body workouts rather than long cardio. There's a women's route and a men's route from the same page. Billing is recurring, so something continues after the first charge.
Before you buy
- Before paying, find out exactly what the recurring charge is and how to cancel it
- Refunds go through ClickBank, so check the window shown on the payment page
- Expect a marketing email sequence after you enter your address, use an address you don't mind that on
Who it suits
