Is it worth it?
That burn that turns up an hour after dinner and is still there at midnight. The stack of pillows. Antacids in every bag and drawer. The sense that the only answer on offer is another prescription and no real explanation. That's who this is written for. No Más Acidez is the Spanish edition of a long-running digital guide by Jeff Martin, built around a five-step plan you follow at home: changing what and when you eat, plus sleep and daily habits, rather than taking anything. Everything is in Spanish, which is the whole point of this version. Be clear-eyed about the claims. The page promises a permanent cure in two months, relief in two hours, and says you'll avoid cancer, high blood pressure and Alzheimer's caused by prescription drugs. Those are the seller's claims and no studies are cited for any of them. What the underlying advice has going for it is more ordinary but real: trigger foods, meal timing, portion size, weight and not lying down after eating genuinely do shift reflux for a lot of people, and having it as one structured plan beats scattered advice. So treat it as a well-organised diet and habits programme in Spanish, not a cure. If you're on prescribed medication, or have been told you have a hernia or Barrett's, make changes with your doctor rather than a book.
Pros
- Written entirely in Spanish, not machine translated bolt-on
- Turns scattered reflux advice into one plan you can follow
- Diet and timing changes do help many people with reflux
- One payment, nothing to keep buying every month
Cons
- Big cure and disease-risk claims with no evidence offered
- Encourages going without medication, which is not your call alone to make
- Page doesn't say the price, the format, the length, or the refund terms
What you get
A downloadable Spanish-language guide setting out the author's five-step system: which foods to cut and add, meal timing and portion advice, sleep and lifestyle changes, plus the reasoning behind each step. It is reading and self-directed work, not a product you take. The page doesn't state page count, file format, how it is delivered, or what else is bundled.
Before you buy
- Check the price and the refund window at checkout, the page only says guaranteed
- Confirm you're comfortable reading a full book in Spanish
- If you take prescribed reflux medicine, plan any change with your doctor first
Who it suits
Spanish speakers with ongoing heartburn who want a structured diet and lifestyle plan to try alongside, not instead of, medical advice
