Is it worth it?
You walk out the back door, look at the tired strip of grass and the fence nobody has painted, and you know something could be done out there. You just have no idea what. Then someone quotes you a number for it and you close the door again. That's the spot this is aimed at. Ideas4Landscaping is essentially a very large picture library. Thousands of photos of finished gardens, front yards, patios, paths and water features, sorted into categories, plus videos and written guidance on doing the work yourself. You browse it the way you'd browse Pinterest, except it's organised and it's all in one place, and you use it to work out what you actually like before you spend money on anything. Used that way it earns its keep. Seeing forty versions of a narrow side yard tells you more about your own taste than an hour of staring at your own will. It's also genuinely useful when you're getting quotes, because you can show a contractor pictures instead of waving your arms around. What it isn't is a plan for your garden. Nothing in it accounts for your climate, your soil, your drainage or how much sun that back corner gets. The claim that you won't need professionals is the seller's pitch, not a promise. Grading, retaining walls and drainage still want a real person.
