Is it worth it?
You reach behind you for the seatbelt and something in your shoulder catches. Or you wake up at 4am because you rolled onto the bad side again. That's usually the point where someone starts searching, after months of telling themselves it'll settle down on its own. Ageless Shoulders is a follow along mobility programme from Zach Zenios, a neurosomatic therapist with a Master's in exercise science and a corrective exercise certification. The pitch leans hard on an 'ancient Indian ritual', which is dressing for what is almost certainly club or mace style swinging, an old training method of big circles under light load. Physios use similar work, and gentle loaded range of motion is a reasonable thing to try for a stiff, achy shoulder. But the page offers no study, no trial, nothing behind the claim that 27,591 people erased their pain. Treat that number as the seller's claim, not a result. What you're really buying is a structured set of movements and someone telling you in what order to do them, and these programmes usually cost less than a single physio appointment, though you won't see the price until the end of the video. If you'll actually do it most days for a couple of months, that's decent value. If you want to buy a fix and not do the work, skip it. And if the pain came from a fall, or you have a diagnosed tear, get it looked at before you start swinging anything.
Pros
- Made by someone with real exercise science credentials
- Movement based, nothing to swallow
- One off payment, no recurring charges
- Short sessions you can do at home
Cons
- No study or trial behind the 27,591 figure, just the seller's word
- Page never says what you receive, what it costs or how long it takes
- Useless unless you do it consistently for weeks
What you get
The page is a video with no breakdown of the contents, so go in knowing this: what's being sold is a digital follow along programme, video and/or PDF, delivered by email or a login straight after payment. Expect a sequence of shoulder mobility routines built around swinging movements, probably short daily sessions. If any physical tool is needed, check whether it's included or something you buy separately.
Before you buy
- Get it looked at properly first if the pain followed an injury or you can't lift past shoulder height
- Check whether a club, mace or weight is needed, and whether it's included in the price
- Read the return policy page for the actual refund window before paying
Who it suits
Someone with general stiffness and a nagging ache who will commit to a few minutes most days
