Is it worth it?

If you're looking at this, you've probably already tried to meditate and it didn't stick. Twenty minutes sitting with your own racing head, no idea whether you're doing it right, and by day four you've quietly stopped. Or you're sleeping badly and running at a low hum of anxiety all day and want something that just works without becoming another project. InnaPeace is aimed at exactly that. It's audio you put on with headphones, lie down, press play, and that's the whole practice. No technique to learn, no breath counting, no app streak. The honest version: for a lot of people the audio works as a relaxation cue. Pleasant sound, a fixed length, headphones on, nothing else to do. That's a genuine daily habit, and the habit is the part that actually helps. The bigger promises on the page, that it raises your IQ, synchronises your whole brain, lifts your earning potential and normalises mood, are the makers' claims and they're offered without any study you can go and read for yourself. Take those as advertising and judge the rest on whether you feel calmer after a fortnight. If you want a low-effort, structured way to switch off each day, this does that reasonably well. If you're after treatment for anxiety, panic or a sleep disorder, it isn't one and doesn't replace talking to a doctor.

Pros

  • No technique to learn, you just press play
  • Tracks get deeper in stages, so there's a clear path
  • Written guidance with each level, not just files
  • Far cheaper than ongoing therapy or a retreat

Cons

  • Big brain and life claims come with no evidence you can check
  • It's a subscription, so it keeps billing until you cancel
  • The page doesn't say the price, how many levels there are, or how long the whole programme runs
  • Needs decent headphones and a quiet, uninterrupted slot every day

What you get

A series of CD quality audio tracks, nature sounds and gentle tones, with inaudible brainwave guidance signals (they call it 3xPureTone) layered underneath. Tracks get progressively deeper, and each level comes with a written guide explaining how to use it and what to expect at that stage. Being a subscription, further levels and a monthly support letter arrive over time rather than all at once.

Before you buy

  • Confirm the monthly amount and exactly how to cancel before you sign up
  • Check the refund window on the order page and diary the date
  • Be realistic about whether you can protect a quiet stretch daily, because sporadic use won't do much

Who it suits

Someone who wants a calm daily wind-down and has bounced off traditional meditation, and who can take the brain science claims with a pinch of salt
