Flat Belly Soup Diet review
A short soup-based eating plan for people who want structure without counting calories

Is it worth it?
You've probably got clothes in the wardrobe that don't fit, and a history of diets that held for a fortnight. Soup plans keep coming up because they're simple. One thing to cook, no weighing, no app, no decisions at 6pm when you're tired. That's the genuine appeal here. What you're buying is a recipe plus a short plan: soup for lunch and dinner for about two weeks. If your current lunches are sandwiches, snacks and takeaways, swapping two meals a day for vegetable soup will very likely move the scale. Not because of anything clever, just fewer calories going in. The page says the soup burns more calories digesting it than it contains. That isn't how food works, and no evidence is offered for it. The numbers quoted (17 pounds in seven days, 87 pounds, 50 pounds) are the seller's claims, with nothing you can check behind them. Treat them as advertising and set your own expectations well below that. Strip the promises away and there's still something real: structure. Someone else has decided what you eat, so you stop negotiating with yourself. For some people that's worth the price of one takeaway. Be realistic about the downsides though. Soup twice a day gets boring by day five, it's awkward around other people's meals, and weight lost on a two week plan tends to return once normal eating resumes.
Pros
- Very simple to follow, no calorie counting or apps
- Batch cooks in one pot, so cheap and low effort
- One-off payment, not a subscription
- Ingredients are ordinary supermarket food
Cons
- The 'burns more calories than it contains' claim has no evidence behind it
- Page never states price, file format, number of recipes or how many pages
- No guidance offered for what you eat after the two weeks, which is when weight usually comes back
What you get
A digital recipe and meal plan built around one main soup you batch cook (a slow cooker works, going by the page's own example) and eat for lunch and dinner across roughly two weeks. Expect the recipe, ingredient list and day-to-day instructions as a download you read on a phone or print. The page never itemises page count, extras or format, so confirm that before paying.
Before you buy
- Check the price and the refund window on the checkout page before you commit
- Confirm it's an instant digital download and that you're happy reading it on screen
- If you take prescription medication or have diabetes, speak to your GP first. The page talks about people coming off meds, and that isn't something to do off a recipe plan
Who it suits
Someone who cooks, eats out rarely, and wants a simple two week reset with the thinking done for them. Skip it if you want lasting change, already find soup recipes easily, or have a health condition that makes big diet swings risky.
