Is it worth it?
If you're looking at this, money is probably tight in a way that isn't going to fix itself next month. Rent's gone up, or you're staring at a bill you can't cover, and somebody mentioned the guy in the question mark suit who says there's free government money out there. So here you are, wondering if it's real. Here's the honest version. The programs are real. Housing assistance, utility help, SNAP, childcare subsidies, small business grants, job training funds all genuinely exist, and plenty of people who qualify never apply because finding the right office is a nightmare.
