Is it worth it?
You probably ended up here because something in your mouth is nagging at you. Maybe the pink in the sink when you brush, or a twinge on cold drinks, or a dentist quote you can't face paying. PowerBite is sold as an answer to that: a small candy you let dissolve before bed, with a blend of minerals and plant extracts meant to support teeth and gums. Worth knowing what's in it. Xylitol is the one ingredient here with a real track record in dental research, it's why it turns up in sugar-free gum, and there's decent evidence it makes life harder for the bacteria that cause decay. Clove oil and myrrh have long traditional use for sore gums. Calcium carbonate and sea salt are ordinary. Lysozyme is an enzyme found in saliva. That's a sensible-looking list, but the page offers no trial of the actual blend, and none of it will rebuild enamel that's already gone or clear gum disease that's set in. The seller's language is support, and that's the honest ceiling. So: fine as a small nightly habit on top of brushing and flossing, in the same spirit as chewing xylitol gum. Not fine as a substitute for seeing someone about a tooth that hurts. If your gums bleed every single time you brush, that's a dentist visit, not a candy.

- If you have pain, a loose tooth or gums that bleed constantly, book a dentist first and treat this as an extra at most
Who it suits
Someone with reasonably healthy teeth who wants a simple nightly habit on top of brushing, and doesn't mind paying for convenience over buying xylitol separately.
