Is it worth it?
You've been on your feet all day and by bedtime they ache, they're hot, and the skin's gone rough. Somewhere in the scrolling you hit a page showing a pad that goes black overnight, and part of you thinks, well, something must be coming out. Here's the honest bit. That blackening is what bamboo vinegar and the other powders do when they meet warmth and sweat under an adhesive pad pressed to your sole for eight hours. It isn't a reading of what was inside you. Worth noticing that the Xitox page itself is careful here: it never promises to pull toxins out, it talks about soothing tired feet, moisturising, softening skin and helping you unwind. Judged on that, it's a scented moisturising patch, which is a modest and fairly plausible thing to be. Judged as a detox, no evidence is offered, and I wouldn't buy it for that. What it might realistically do: mint and vinegar smell clean, chitosan and houttuynia hold moisture against the skin, and there's the small ritual of washing your feet and sticking something on before bed, which some people find genuinely settling. If rough heels and end of day aching are the real problem, a thick urea foot cream and cotton socks cost less and do more. The testimonials on the page are the seller's own.
Pros
- Easy to use, two pads and you're asleep
- All six ingredients are named openly
- Moisturising ingredients that plausibly soften skin
- One-off purchase, nothing rebills
Cons
- A pad turning black proves nothing about toxins leaving you
- No price, pack count or refund terms stated on the page
- Adhesive worn eight hours can irritate sensitive skin
What you get
A box of stick-on foot pads, a physical product posted to you, not a download. Each pad has an adhesive backing and a herbal layer containing tourmaline, bamboo vinegar, mint powder, loquat leaf, chitosan and houttuynia cordata. You use two a night, one per foot, worn about eight hours while you sleep. Sold in multi-month supplies, with free shipping on the six month option.
Before you buy
- Chitosan is made from shellfish, so skip it if you have a shellfish allergy
- Find the total price, how many pads per box and what the guarantee actually covers before ordering
- If you have diabetes, poor circulation, numbness or ongoing foot pain, ask a doctor before sticking anything to your soles
Who it suits
Someone who wants a pleasant bedtime foot ritual and softer skin, not someone expecting a detox or a fix for real foot pain
