Is it worth it?
You sit down with your five year old and a school reading book, and it goes the same way every night. They know the letters. They just cannot pull them together into a word, and by page two everyone is fed up. Or you are teaching a class and three kids are clearly behind the rest and you have no time to build extra material from scratch. This is a worksheet pack, and it is honest about that. Around 70 pages of PDF that you print. The sequence is the useful bit: starting sounds, then blending within one word family at a time, then sight words, then very short stories with a question or two. That structure means you can pull one page a day without deciding what comes next. Day to day it is about ten minutes. Print two or three pages, sit with them, let them circle and match. The puzzle pages (mazes, word searches) they can mostly do alone while you get on with something. What it will not do is teach you how to teach reading. There is no parent guide mentioned, no audio, no lesson notes. If your child has a diagnosed difficulty like dyslexia, this is practice, not intervention, and a specialist is the better spend.

- You need a printer and paper. Filling these in on a screen is not really the point
- Look at where your child actually is. If they are not yet solid on letter sounds, start with the A to Z pages, and if they are already reading simple sentences this is probably too easy
