Is it worth it?
You bought the blender. It's on the counter, and most mornings you walk past it because you can only think of one smoothie, banana and whatever berries are in the freezer, and you're bored of it. Or you're trying to get more veg into a kid, or into yourself, and you've run out of ideas by Wednesday. That's the gap this fills. It's a recipe bank, nothing cleverer than that, and it's honestly fine at being one. The 15 themed lists are the useful bit, because on a given morning you don't want 200 options, you want the six protein ones or the six green ones. Photos help more than you'd expect when you're deciding fast. Be clear about what it isn't, though. The page talks about melting fat, boosting energy and detox, and there's no evidence offered for any of that, so treat those as sales language rather than a health claim you can bank on. A cleansing smoothie is a smoothie. The real benefit is that drinking more fruit and veg is good for you and variety makes you keep doing it. At $12.97 it's roughly one supermarket magazine, and you'll use it more.
Pros
- Genuinely large recipe count for the money
- Sorted into themed lists so it's easy to browse
- Photos with every recipe
- Instant download, nothing to wait for
Cons
- Health claims like detox and fat melting are the seller's promises, not proven
- Some recipe names repeat across the sample lists, so 200 may include overlap
- Page doesn't say the file format, page count, or the refund terms
