Is it worth it?
If you've been on the fence about a GLP-1 prescription, or you're on one and eating without much thought behind it, or you tapered off and the hunger came roaring back, that's probably how you ended up here. The pitch is that you can nudge the same hormone with food instead of an injection. Worth separating the headline from the thing you actually buy. Eating Love is a recipe search engine with macro filters and an AI assistant on top. That's genuinely useful if you have protein and fiber targets and you're tired of scrolling past someone's childhood memories to reach the ingredient list. Filtering a huge recipe library by fiber grams and cuisine at the same time solves a real, boring, daily annoyance. The weight loss framing is the seller's promise, and no study is offered for it. To their credit, the page says outright that food-triggered GLP-1 works at a different scale than prescription medication and that this isn't a medical treatment. Believe that line more than the banner above it. Protein and fiber keeping you fuller for longer is well established. Replacing a drug is a different claim entirely. At $5 a month, judged as a cooking tool for someone already counting macros, it's cheap enough to try for a month. Judged as a substitute for medication, no.
Pros
- Cheap at the advertised $5 a month
- Filters by macros and cuisine together
- Recipe pages with no ads or long preamble
- Useful whether or not you take medication
Cons
- Headline promises more than food alone can do
- Recurring billing and no refund terms shown on the page
- You still do the cooking, planning and shopping yourself
What you get
A subscription to a recipe site you search by numbers: fiber, protein, calories and cuisine, all at once. There's an AI helper that swaps ingredients or re-targets a recipe's macros, a personal library for tagging keepers, one tap grocery lists, and weekly meal plans. Pages are recipe only, no ads and no blog preamble. Billed monthly at the stated $5.
Before you buy
